Corporate Citizen: What is your philosophy on wellness? Neha Gupta: Eat healthy,
Neha Gupta: Eat healthy, stay healthy. I strictly believe this because one can only bring their best out when their health is good enough to support them. Healthy eating habits help me to keep going not only with my routine but also makes me a multitasker. So, while mastering any work, I follow this philosophy for wellness.
CC: What do you do for your holistic well-being?
I integrate holistic well-being into my daily life by being kind and staying positive. Helping others grow is part of my well-being which makes me happy. Apart from that, I practice gratitude and mindfulness. Every day finding new ways to grow and help many other moms to earn and be self-dependent, this process requires lots of patience and keeping yourself motivated is also a vital part added to my holistic well-being.
CC: What keeps you fit and healthy?
Avoid eating junk, have your meal at a fixed time and early dinner. Patience comes with practice and do what you like to make yourself happy and your mind calm. Calm your mind by doing any one of your hobby every day. For example, I love reading, travelling and walking which I can do every day so this keeps me cool and calm. A short break from routine or a small getaway with family helps in cooling and refreshing your mind. I don’t eat junk food; this keeps me fit. I follow a healthy and tasty diet. It’s a myth that diet food cannot be tasty. Nowadays, there are so many recipes for diets available online and the pandemic has taught people how to stay healthy by eating nutritious and yummy food.
CC: How do you like to rejuvenate and recharge and de-stress?
“Me time” is very important in any mom’s life and I follow it strictly to de-stress and energise myself. Pick up things that interest you—for me, it could be as simple as reading a few pages of a book or going for a walk or talking to a friend. And when I have time, I travel, as it helps me rejuvenate and recharge and connect to myself.
CC: What is your food philosophy?
My food philosophy is to avoid packaged food. I believe one shouldn’t eat food which comes in a packet. Adding to this, I must say that eating early is important for your wellness regime. Set time for your everyday meal and keep it fixed and not let it change. What you eat is also equally important as one should get the right kind of nutrients. Say no to junk and packed food.
CC: What is your fitness regime?
Exercise is King and diet is Queen, both together make a beautiful Kingdom for you. Walking is the best exercise that one can do to follow a good health regime. Covid situation has also made many people follow a healthy food regime and exercise or yoga to keep them fit. I too believe the same.
CC: How do you set out your priorities to keep your work and personal life balanced?
It is easy to say but tough to balance but I must say it’s not impossible if one wishes to do so. Giving free time to family as well as your health is equally important. Balancing it needs a lot of patience and time. Make family your stress buster, this can happen only by spending your free time with them. I believe my family is my strength and they also help me to keep my professional and personal life balanced.

Health is wealth; please follow a routine to make you fit. You can pick up any activity that you like or different activities on different days-even if it is 15 mins a day. And pick up a hobby and talk to your friends and family. Holistic well-being includes-body, mind, social and spirit. So, take out time for yourself. You would see a difference in your life.
CC: Tell us about your favourite wellness ritual.
Start your day with a glass of water-when you get a chance get moving-go for a walk and spend some time with nature (tend to a garden or sit in a park) for 5-10 mins a day. Just sit quietly and take a few deep breaths. Eat a healthy breakfast. This energises me to keep going the whole day.

Starting is important. Take the first step and the rest would follow. Never give up. God has set good plans for all, just hard work and dedication are required to reach where you want to see yourself. Believe in your dreams. Every drop counts, taking tiny steps towards your goal with hard work will never let you down.
