IMC 2024 Breaking Boundaries
It was an experience of stepping into a realm where innovation intersected with imagination—the India Mobile Congress 2024 (IMC 2024) was not just any other tech event. It was where dreams, technologies, and aspirations were shaping tomorrow’s digital landscape converged. The India Mobile Congress is the country’s first and biggest event connecting mobile, internet and technology. The eighth edition of IMC was held from 15-18 October, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, in concurrence with World Telecommunication Standardisation Assembly 2024 (WTSA’ 24), the governing conference of the ITU Standardisation Sector (ITU-T).
In his inaugural visit to IMC 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was seen interacting with pioneering startups, including women-led start-ups.
This year’s IMC 2024 was an immersive experience of cutting-edge exhibitions, interactive showcases, and experiential zones that brought innovation to life. Where disruptive innovations in the domains of Clean Tech, Deep Tech, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum, Industry 4.0, Security, Smart Mobility, Enterprise, 5G and 6G, Semiconductors, Electronics Manufacturing, Satellite Communications, are redefining tomorrow. The knowledge-sharing panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, and fireside chats empowered you with insights.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) based innovations stood out at IMC 2024, with over 700 AI-based use cases showcased during the 4-day event. A must watch exhibit was the Ericsson’s 5G-powered robotic dog Rocky, which was unveiled at IMC 2024, aimed to assist authorities with efficient emergency response by sending alerts in time that can help authorities deal with emergencies like fire outbreaks.
